2019 was the year of product releases for Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC US (METUS)! We are proud to offer VRF equipment and stand by the METUS brand for its effectiveness and efficiency on all our jobs. Below, we’re recapping all the major commercial releases this year.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Offered in three tiers, Standard, Efficiency and Hyper-Heating, N-Generation was the hot product of 2019! Engineered to maximize energy efficiency and application flexibility, the compact N-Generation increases design freedom with a small footprint and expanded vertical piping limits. Available in 6, 8 and 10-ton single modules and 12, 16 and 20-ton twinned models, N-Generation has the capacity for any application. Units equipped with Hyper-Heating INVERTER® (H2i®) technology, also perform optimally in adverse weather conditions.

 

 

 

 

 

Part of the M-Series product lineup, each 115 Volt Heat Pump system utilizes one breaker spot in an electrical panel versus the typical two breaker spots. A single-zone system, the MSZ-JP model indoor unit and corresponding MUZ-JP model outdoor unit are ideal for light commercial applications, such as hotels and restaurants. Available in 9 and 12 kBtu/h capacities, the system has a SEER of 17.0, HSPF of 9.3-11.00 and an EER of 9.9-12.0.

 

 

 

 

 

Available in 36,000, 48,000, 72,000 and 96,000 BTUH capacities, the PEFY-OA is a high-performance indoor unit that improves comfort by pre-treating and filtering outside air before delivering it to each zone. Ideal for applications with plenum space, the unit connects to R2- and Y-Series outdoor units saving your clients on equipment costs.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Part of the CITY MULTI lineup, the PUMY is a single-phase heat pump ideal for light commercial applications. PUMY P36 (3-ton) and P48 (4-ton) models are now available with H2i technology, offering up to 100% of rated heating capacity at 5 °F and performs at 78% of rated capacity in temperatures as low as -13 °F. The units meet ENERGY STAR® certification standards.
